freezer ice

On our last two outings, the freezer has accumulated quite a bit of ice/frost. Searched the old posts and saw that it could be opening the freezer to often or bad seals. Don't think the opening frequency has increased which leaves us with the seals. Not being sure what a "bad" seal looked like I checked things out. What I noticed is that the seals on the top and sides were nice and aligned while the bottom seals had a noticeable sag. Is this what a bad seal looks like? Think this might be the culprit? I read where you basically have to replace the door.
Thanks
Kirk

Did you do the Dollar bill test? Where you close a dollar bill in the seal and see how hard it is to pull out. If it falls out on it's own, the seal is bad. If it takes a gentle tug to get it out the seal is intact.

While I've never replaced the seal on an RV fridge, those look like regular residential fridge seals.

Thanks Bama. I hadn't heard of that test but makes sense. Went to the TT today and gave it a try. The bill had the same resistance top, side or bottom. Heading out tomorrow so we'll see how it goes this time.

You're most likely fine then. Probably just from all the extra humidity we've had this year.
