Close up of one external fan.
These come on with fridge on as well but I also have a switch to turn them off if its cooler outside.

That looks like a Cooler Master PC case fan! Got several of those bad boys lying around, build confusers as a hobby. Where'd ya plug the 3-prong power jack in?

Hot wire and ground to the un switched side of fridge light. For internal fan.
Outside fans get power from lower left of circuit board.

What were some of the other variables? Did the outside/inside temp(of RV) stay relatively the same.....what was the ambient temp?
Where you using electric or propane?
Did you do the same comparison without fans?
I could swear I got similar cool downs without fans but I know the outside temp was 65 degrees so it is hard to compare.

I did Turbs fridge mods and it worked awesome. I was camping here in FL the past 4th of July. The temps were in in the 90s and my fridge was at 34 degrees all weekend. The biggest difference was how fast it recovered from opening and closing the door often. Great idea Turbs!

Turbs, I used the 120 mm fan I told you about on the coils. I zip tied it to the coils, it fit perfectly. I test the air flow by taking some paper and putting it against the outside vent. It sucks the paper and holds it up against the vent. The fan was a computer case fan.

Circulating the air makes a BIG difference!

Can you explain the hot wire to fridge light a little more? Not really good at electrical stuff. If you have a picture that would be good. I'm more visual when it comes this kind of stuff.

If memory serves me correctly the hot wire that goes to the fridge light bulb is what I used.
This wire is hot as long as the fridge is "on".
The ground is switched via you lever to turn light on when fridge is opened.
So the ground wire went to the side of the switch which is always grounded.
I'll take a pic tonight with light cover removed and double check the answer I gave.
