Fridge drain hose on Rockwood....

So we have a Rockwood 8312SS and the other day I noticed that there is no hose hanging out of the refrigerator vent for a drain. My old Roo had one and most all other RV's have them. I took the vent cover off and don't see any place for a hose or anything......should it have one? Does it have one that is routed somewhere else that I can't see?

There has to be a drainage hose there...they just managed to hide it well. I had to fish out the drainage hose on mine after delivery. It appears that the factory doesn't do it consistently. It will eventually cause water damage if its draining inside the cabinet.

I found a very small tube that ends in a plastic tray. I assume that this is the drain but it's a lot smaller than the one on my prior RV. Plus there isn't any drain from that tray.

Brand of Refrigerator

I could be wrong, it's happened before. I think the Dometic brand of refrigerator has that black hose while the Norcold does not. The Norcold has a pan the water goes in and it will evaporate.

I don't know anything about the Dometic, but the Norcold unit in my Windjammer has a hose which drains to a little black pan (no more than 12 oz capacity) to evaporate, just as stated. This is located inside the vented outside access behind the fridge. My pan has been dry whenever I have checked it.

That must be what mine has. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks all!
