Fridge not cooling properly

I have had this 2016 rockwood mini lite since May fridge always worked great at around 39 deg( I have a digital thermometer in there) today the fridge is staying at 49 deg. Any ideas why it's doing this I have it plugged to shore power and the propane is on to. Please help I have a week long trip planned any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Check if the thermistor has inadvertently slid down on the cooling fin inside the fridge. They like to do that.

Piece of plastic should have a wire coming out of it running into the fridge. Did the sensor fall out of the plastic clip?

I ran some rough road in and out of McCarthy Alaska and my thermistor slid way down. Shimmed it with a piece of plastic and it's holding.

The thermistor is on a cable and should be clamped by that piece of plastic. Slide it up high for colder. It sounds like it us laying down now.

That is the sensor. It should clip onto the plastic slider. See photo.

That's it. It slips in a slot on back of the plastic.

Locchamp,,,,,if that thermistor isn't attached to the fins,,,,it'll make your fridge much colder since it's sensing ambient air instead of the fin temperature. You might have a different problem. Is your refrigerator in a slide-out? And if so, I'll point you to another problem you might have.

Gosh I love this forem! I have a 2017 Flagstaff okbs that I picked three weeks ago. Having same issue with refrig. Found the thermistor on the top shelf with ice all over it. Unplugged refrig, got rid of ice, attached thermistor to plastic piece and placed both back on fin. Refrig runs all time, temp at 48 degrees after three days. Gramdpa am interested in other idea you might have, refrig is on third slide out. Dealer is 120 miles away and not much help on phone. Leavin the tt with him is not am option at this time. Goshen is not far away!

If your fridge is in a slide-out, venting is all together different than the other way. If your fridge is not in a slide,,,,,the condenser venting outside exits through the roof which is much more efficient. If it's in a slide....the condenser venting outside is "in" at the bottom and "out" at the top......not the roof, but the top of the side directly above the inlet which looks the same. If your fridge is running, you SHOULD hear the fan humming outside,,,,and actually even on the inside. If the fan is not running,,,,,the venting outside is too hot and the fridge will not cool down, and that is your problem. Is the fan outside running? I added another fan to mine so they're in tandom to overcome the ambient heat here in central Texas. Right now it's 93 outside and running full time,,,,,but my freezer stays between 0 and 5 degrees and the fridge is cold enough to have ice crystals in my water bottle sometimes. I don't like the fridges being in slides,,,,,that creates major problems,,,,and I probably won't get another rv with a fridge in a slide.
