I camp at 7000 at the Grand Canyon and my Dometic works great on propane, 35-38 . The only difference is I can hear the flame at night. Make sure your flue is clear and the screen at the top is clean. Make sure your flame is going direct up the tube. To me the jet makes the biggest improvment.remove a screw or two to get the cover out of the way and you can see it burn. clean it and you can see the difference. The tube the
propane blows into should be clean and you can adjust it to center the flame
