Fridge sweating inside

My fridge in my new 2016 Flyte FQ works fine. Nice and cold, freezer fine too. But I have quite a bit of moisture inside, especially on the outside of the freezer door. Any suggestions??

On regular refrigerators.. sweat around the door usually means air leakage. Do the dollar bill drag test to see if it is loose somewhere around the door. Residential reefers have heaters around the door to help keep it dried up.

Did dollar bill trick, good seal all way around door. Fridge and freezer work real good. Just sweats inside, mostly on outside of freezer door. Anymore suggestions??

What make and model fridge do you have?

In Fla the humidity has been killer this year. That's contributing to the sweating.

What does this mean? Is the sweating mostly outside the freezer door.

It's a Dometic, it means as said that the sweating in mostly on outside of freezer door, but inside fridge itself. I live in Florida, been here little over 10 years now, all other RV's I've had never sweated like this one. Works great, just freezer door always wet on outside of FREEZER door only. It drips inside fridge area off the Freezer door.

Sounds like maybe it's missing some insulation in the door.

Being that it's a 2016 model, it should still be under warranty. Might want to have the dealer look at it.

We get a fair amount of sweating from the freezer door area with our Dometic when it is humid out. Around here that means late spring to the end of summer. The exterior door seals and freezer door seals are fine on our unit. I think some of it has to do with the small size such that when you open the door the interior air is fully replaced with the humid outside air. A couple of things I do that helps minimize the amount of condensation is to fill the drain hose with water when we arrive at our site and not open the door very often. To this end we only use the fridge for food and keep things like drinks in a cooler. Doing this has also helped keep the coils from icing up quickly on longer trips.
