Frig on propane

If I parked the truck (truck is turned off) on the street and have the propane on and the frig is using propane, will the frig draw a lot of juice from the 12v battery on the trailer or barely?

No the fridge won't draw alot but with other parasitic loads, alarms etc. most RV's only last 1-2 days before batteries drop.

Agree with Vince - minimal draw on the battery if the fridge is running in propane mode.

This question is hard to answer. There are many variables and you give
us no clues as to your rig, make, model, year, or refrigerator make and model.
How many batteries you have and other devices also add to the equation.

Some folks can go a week on 1 battery on LP and be fine.
Some can't.

Just talking about the fridge-- Some models have a built in DC heater
in the metal strip between fresh food door and freezer door.
This heats the metal and stops condensation between the doors.
If you have this heater and it's on- it's a battery hog and can drain your
battery in very short time.
Some models have a switch so you can shut off this heater. You want
the switch off any time you are on battery power.

As others have mentioned, your LP detector and possibly radio memory
and even your onboard power center it's self will draw battery power when the rig is not plugged into shore power.

I know it sounds like a simple question but as you can see, it's not.

Have a look at this thread for more info on the anti condensation heater
and switch on your refer.
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...t-26676-2.html

Note some of the newest refers have the heater but no switch to shut it off. There is a workaround if you find you do have the heater and don't have a switch.

Good Luck!
