Furnace

I have a 2013 8289ws Rockwood. Does anybody know if the furnace runs on propane, electricity or both?

Your furnace needs propane and a 12 volt power supply. If plugged into shore power, the 12 volts will come from the converter. If not, then the 12 volts come from the battery.
The standard dealer installed battery will struggle to run the furnace all night long. When camping with temps in the mid 30's, mine was pretty much dead in the morning.

John is right on. Most who boondock in cool/cold weather put in a dual battery setup with a generator and/or solar charger for just this reason.

Thanks for the information. Montana weather is in the mid 30's right now along with rain showers, snow, sleet, and asteriods. I will test this furnace out.
