Furnace/AC question

So I cranked up my furnace for the first time today, and to my surprise, the AC unit's fan came on. The furnace was blowing hot air out of it's vents like it supposed to be doing, but my AC fan is running the whole time. Does this sound right? I am plugged into AC power (generator.) Thoughts? TIA.

Very common. You need to switch the thermostat from hi or low to auto. The hi/low setting is supposed to help move the warm air around, but I don't like the cold air so it's auto for me

Fired up my new Roo hybrid to burn off some of that new-ness smell. Though I like having the thermostat handle both a/c and heat (old hybrid was just heat and a/c controls were on the a/c) and new hybrid has only one living area heater vent. Has any one noticed any circulation issue with the one vent? Having the a/c and heat separated was an advantage in the cooler days. You run both at the same time which dried the air for rainy day. What have you guys done for moisture (again, maiden voyage will be when highs may reach 70 and lows can easily be low 30's)?

Awesome. That did the trick. This forum (and its members) rock. For every piece of good advice I give, I get three back. Thanks y'all!
