Furnace Problem

Hi All: I am having a non start problem. The thermostat calls for heat and I hear the relay on the board click but the fan does not start. Sometimes it will start and run if I cycle the thermostat a few times. Other times this trick will not work and I can't get it to start.
I have checked the thermostat, the sail switch and the over temperature cut off and they are functioning properly. I have not checked the gas valve but I don't think that is the problem. The furnace is going into the third winter. This fall I replaced the fan motor because of bearing noise.
I am thinking of replacing the board. The run sequence starts with the thermostat and then the board and I think the relay is the problem. It is sealed and can not be serviced. The furnace is a Suburban NT-30NP.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks; Frank

I feel your pain....or I should say cold...

This is our second winter with our 5er, and the furnace won't work. It works fine in the summer when we have a tech looking into the problem....but as soon as I turn it on in the winter when it's needed, it doesn't work. You can hear the blower, and cold air blows thru, but you never hear the 'click', letting you know the furnace is now blowing. You know that familiar sound.....
The fireplace and additional space heaters, work great....but nothing like the warmth that the furnace would provide. We plan to return to Goshen next year for help from FR. They are amazing!

Furnace Problem

Thanks to those that replied. The furnace is still doing the same thing. It works for a couple of days and then goes back to clicking until it feels like working again. I ordered a board for $ 113.00 and will install that and see what happens. I hate throwing parts at a problem but in this case I am at a loss. I will check back later. Thanks; Frank
