I prefer the Oil Filled heater for over night as it is "Silent" .
The RV furnace in our Wildcat sounds like a Lear Jet getting ready for take off... we only use it to take the chill off then the electric heaters take over.
Re Oil Heater
Just make sure it has a thermostat and at least two heat settings...they have a safety tip-over feature.
There is No open element making it quite safe to have on if you leave it unattended.
