Furnace with no flex line connection?

I had to do some work on the furnace in my trailer recently and one thing that I noticed is that it has a lard copper pipe connection. There is no flex line there. Should there be? I'm talking about the flex line like you would see on a gas water heater in your home.

Yes should be copper. There is some flex in the copper. If you are referring to the flex line in photo below, I would not want that in my trailer or home. There have been issues with this type of gas lines recently and although convenient to use, not worth the risk me.

What I was referring to what very similar, but silver in color.

Ok, sounds like the copper pipe is good enough. It flexes, but you have to work it to bend it. Was t sure if that was ok or not.
