Furrion Access

Just saw an advert for the Furrion Access wifi system which includes antenna and an LTE Wifi router. They have several data plans. Does anyone here have one? How well does it work? Which data plan do you use? You know, all the normal questions a connected RVer would have. Thanks.

Looks like they’re setting up to have the equipment installed at the factory during build. Hard to say how good it is, but I’m pretty sure it not quite as capable as aftermarket stuff (Wi-Fi Ranger, Alpha Camp Pro, etcJ.

Their data plan is horribly expensive. Five gig is $50. At that rate my bill last month would have been $3,000. But, if the hardware accepts a SIM card from AT&T or Verizon then it could be a winner.

It definitely is a very clean install that looks very good.

According to its spec sheet it only supports LTE 2, 4, and 13. Looks like it will be Verizon based.

That’s pretty limited capability. The later Verizon devices support bands 2/4/5/7/13/14/20/28/46/48/66.

True, but it lets Furrion make a less expensive(to build) product with a larger profit margin.
