Furrion Electric fire place red light

Any body have any experience with a Furrion Electric fire place?

Mine keeps indicating the red light ( proximity sensor) and cuts out after 1-2 seconds.

The searches I’ve done suggest trimming the grille around the sensors but that hasn’t worked. Nothing in front of the unit for at least 3 feet.

A 2019 unit should still be under warranty. I'd let them handle it.

If you don't want to bother with the dealer, try cleaning the connectors where the sensors plug into the board. A bad connection will cause it to trip.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll pull it and check those connections.

For me a trip to the nearest FR dealership is going to cost more than the cost of the fire place in fuel.
