Furrion Microwave Oven no heat

2015 Model: FMSM09-BL Lights up, carousel turns but nothing heats. Was working last year. Is there anything inside that can be repaired, or is this a brick now?

There is a fuse between the transformer and magnetron that could be blown. There is also a diode that could be faulty. These are easy to test after removing the microwave from the wall. Could try to explain each test, but YouTube is much easier. Good luck

Thank you Rich5117. I found the blown fuse. Now, where to find a 5kv 0.8a fuse.. Don't see anything burnt, I'll ohm the diodes if I can find them.

Amazon has them 5 kv 0.8a microwave fuse, and so do a lot of other places. I searched for "5 kv 0.8a microwave fuse" and got plenty of hits.

I see a trend about Furrion stuff. It seems that they have more problems than any other MFG. Our bedroom Tv sucks and will replace it soon. Their customer service also sucks.

Mine died too. It was a wierd size. I had the dealer fix it. He had to put in a different brand and retrim the area it fits in.

I replaced mine with one from Belk’s, on sale $99.00
Slight modification to one side of opening. Works great. Same features as old one.

Installed new fuse, still no heat, tossed Furrion in the trash and went to Wallmart.
I found a Hamilton Beach micro that is almost exactly the same dimensions. I took the cowling off the Furrion and (with only a minor tweek) mounted it with self drilling/self tapping screws. Fit right into the RV and looks sharp too. Total cost $60.
