General Question about TV selection for RV

I have a question about selecting a TV for my Forest River 2860 DS 2011. I just purchased it and the main TV that is above the drivers cabin was removed, so was the bracket.. The outlet there seems to have BOTH DC and AC, so should I get a D.C. powered TV or a AC one? and what do you think is the MAX size I could select? I can't tell what the original one was, but I think a 27 may fit nicely....

Thanks..

Jason

You could use AC or DC then I suppose but be careful if using the DC. You will have 13.8 volts at best. Many "DC" TVs operate at other than that...perhaps 15 volts. It might work...or it might not. Check the TV voltage requirements and if it's 12 volts you could go that route bypassing the small external power supply...but then if you do that why not just go for any 120 volt TV anyway and just use the power supply.
