Have you gone through the setup menu on the Genesis controller to select the correct input? Just checking.

I have the unit disconnected and winterized now so I can't check but I believe the tv is aux 1. Aux 2 on mine is xm radio. When I play a dvd through the Genesis, the sound is just there with the dvd running without setting any aux input.

TV connects to the Aux 1 input typically from a headphone jack on the side of the TV. Make sure you are selecting aux 1 and not AU 1 which is a different input. Make sure the volume on the TV is turned up as this might be part of the puzzle your missing. After you get it working, Add a small cube speaker (put mine under the dinette table) as the sub woofer. Connects to the Green and Green-Black wires on the speaker wire plug. You will notice a huge difference in the audio quality.
