I have a Genesis 3.0 and love it so far.
DVD issues come is a few flavors so a bit more info is needed to help.
1) Is the DVD an OEM or a copy? If a copy, DVD-R or DVD+R?
2) Mounting screws need to be tightened evenly to avoid torquing the faceplate and the binding can cause DVDs to stick or fail to load.
3) Humidity can fog the DVD laser (especially when you first turn on the air conditioner in a hot humid camper) and cause failures to read and subsequent ejection. Run the radio for several hours to bake out the humidity.
4) Is the DVD scratched or damaged in any way? Netflix DVDs are notorious for scratch damage.
Hope this helps. They do go bad, but many times the above can get you back in action.
