Genesis GT-2.0 Stereo Radio Problem

All, thanks in advance for any insight and/or help with this issue. I just bought the Rockwood Roo 233S model 3 weeks ago and it came with a Genesis GT-2.0 Stereo system which is having trouble only on the radio side. Most times FM or AM either cuts out completely or drops the right stereo channel altogether. This all happens randomly when listening. The other aspects (CD-DVD etc) work perfectly without any issues, just on the radio side seems to be the problem.

Spoke to RV Wholesalers and there response was to call FR Electronics for guidance first, which I have a call into them, awaiting a call back.

When I pulled the radio out of the wall unit, everything seemed fine, all the plugs are in correctly and even attempted to check the antenna cable connection but it is hard wired into the back of the unit.

How would you change the radio w/o removing the antenna assembly from the roof? Any one know?

Thanks, Mitch

The antenna is NOT hard wired to the radio. It is plugged directly into it. When looking at the radio from the side (once removed) the antenna is the top right most cable connected to the unit. Pull it out and you should see a standard automotive antenna connection there.
