Genesis GT-3.0 Cannot hear dialogue only background sounds

We just picked up our new Puma 356QLB which has the Genesis GT-3.0 surround sound system installed. When I play a DVD, I can only hear the actors dialogue from the bedroom speakers, and the background audio/music in the main living area. When I shut off the bedroom speakers I get none of the dialogue. I can't even get any sound from the TV itself.

I need to figure out how to get ALL of the sound from the selected speakers in the living area in case one of us wants to stay up to watch TV. I'm sure its just a setting I need to change but I have been messing around with it all afternoon and cannot figure it out.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

This should not be a "setting" as When you select Zone A that should be all the living area speakers. Including the voice dialog from the center channel. If the voices are not coming out of the center channel when A is selected, then someone will need to double check all the speaker wiring both at the back of the radio and at the speaker. This will ensure all the speakers are wired and "in phase".

I think you are hearing voice dialog from the bedroom speakers because the zone B & C speakers when used are simply two channel stereo.

You can reset the factory defaults by pressing and holding the MODE button until that radio shuts off. Then turn it back on and try again.

Feel free to call directly with additional questions.

Thanks for the reply. What I have discovered since I made the post is that it is only certain DVD's that do this. Some that I play will play all sounds through the selected speakers, while some have to have the A and B selected to hear the actors dialogue through the bedroom speakers.
I will try resetting to factory settings and see what happens.
