genesis gt 3.0 remote not working

Picked up our new 34TBOK and most everything is great! but, i can't get the remote for the Genesis to work at all? Batteries in, double and triple checked for polarity. Tried other batteries, but no go. When i press the power button, the eject button lights up, but nothing happens with the stereo at all. The stereo works fine with it's buttons though?
Any help appreciated. Obviously I can call my dealer and get it handled, but hoping I'm just an idiot and it's something simple...
Thanks
Joel

Be very particular about lining up the remote. I thought mine didn't work until my wife walked in and said "here, try this" and lowered her hand down to where it was level with the radio's eye. It's worked a treat since then.

If that doesn't work, here's a link to another thread. If you follow it there is a link to contact information from someone from Genesis. Contacting them might save you a trip to your dealer.

Make sure the remote button for controlling the Genesis is pushed. Sometimes it can be set to control another device.

That was it. I got it figured out night two. Sorry i forgot to post back. Since it's programmable to other devices, you have to press the gt3 button when you first go to use the remote.
Thanks!

I'm having the following three problems with the genesis technologies GT-3.0 system: (1) when I press the blue tooth button all I get is "BT ERROR" on the screen. (2) cannot get the remote to work. I have read that pressing the "GT-3.0" (which appears to be the power button on the main unit) will then pair with the remote? Should I also press a button on the remote at the same time? (3) A DVD disc will not eject. All other play and functions are working with the disc, but just can't eject. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Doug
