Greystone fireplace in Riverstone Rv

We bought a 2019 Riverstone 39FKTH and the fireplace in the living room will not work. It will turn on then about 10 seconds later it cuts off. Has anyone else had this problem? It is a 47” glass fireplace. Has anyone removed one from the wall? We could only find 2 screws but something is still holding it in. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

whats the temp in the camper? my fireplace has a thermostat setting that turns if on and off based on temp inside camper. maybe your camper is to warm and the thermostat setting on fireplace is up high?

maybe some hidden screws behind a trim piece?

I have the same problem with the Greystone fireplace in my TT. It does't matter what the fireplace thermostat is set to. If yours is like mine the fan is behind the upper front grate close to the thermostat bulb and it seems it deflects the warm air enough that the thermostat bulb gets warm before the room. I have found that leaving the grate open when I use it works best.

I had the same problem and had to replace it 4 times. Apparently this model fireplace is for a wall mount not for recessed into the wall for ventilation purposes. To remove it there are 2 screws on top of the unit, you have to remove the radio and you will see the screws on top of the wall mount.
