Has anyone updated their stereo system?

Hi:
In our new-to-us 2010 Wildwood is a ZX25 Stereo (Concertone???). From time to time the mode button seems to stick - can't change from CD to radio - and other times the CD player doesn't recognize the CD. I'd like to update it to something better (Jensen maybe?) so I'm looking for suggestions.

My 8 year old GX500 was doing the same thing. 'Sticky' buttons. Every function worked perfectly when using the remote. Anyway, I upgraded to the Genesis 3.0 mainly because of simplicity. I found a new one on eBay for cheap. Got it installed with a wire harness plug adapter from Concertone, which was a plug and play install. Everything went great and now have TV hooked up via HDMI and optical audio cable. Also the 3.0 has a USB port and SD card slot, plus a front audio jack and BlueTooth. So far very happy as everything is working like it's supposed to.

The ZX25 is an old school vertically mounted CD drive so you will want to check and see how much DEPTH you have before you purchase a new unit! A cd drive that utilizes a "slot loader" will require at least 5" (and the ZX25 does not need nearly that).
