Heat Only Coming From One Vent

Maybe this is a better place to post than the propane area.

I have a 2014 Forest River Wildcat Maxx, and the heat is only coming out of the vent under the kitchen counter, under the drawers in the peninsula. The vents close by seem to have some heat barely trickling out, but none of the other vents are working.

Does anyone have any advice? Thank you so much in advance for whatever help is offered!

First, If possible, find your furnace and make sure the ductwork is hooked up correctly. Sometimes the ductwork (similar to dryer vent duct) becomes unattached to the furnace openings. It's also possible that the ductwork had become crushed in areas.

Might be a funny question but can you hear air escaping anywhere other than that vent you said is working? As stated above it may be the ducting is not attached or has become unattached or even pinched somewhere.

I have found holes in the ductwork under the floor and also mouse nests in the ductwork, each of which blocked the airflow at the vents.

Sounds like your duct work was not connected and your probably feeling air from the underbelly. You are going to have to check the furnace, either the ducts are not connected correctly or you have some crushed somewhere. Sorry to say that's a pretty common problem with FR....

We have 2014 rockwood, we found that they had left chunks of Styrofoam in some of the ductwork. This was blocking the flow of air to the bed room until we finally got it out.

Suggest you check duct as others say.

In our 21FBRS we found 4" flex duct kinked with no air passing thru. Easy fix.

Yep, check the ducts. Our 232 has a short, tight turn to a wall vent in the bathroom. No problem during PDI, but second trip needed heat. Bathroom was chilly along with bedroom. Saw DW standing in front of intake grill, and she said she was enjoying the warmth! I pulled off the grill and there was a 12" separation in the foil duct dumping all the warm air! Just made Home Depot before closing.
