HEAT Pump stopped working

So as always I left the heat pump on over night in the RV to keep the chill out. Last night it dropped into the 30's and the heat pump this morning when I got up was not working.

Any input?

Ok so from what I am reading under 40degrees outside and the heat pump will lock out.

So in this case do I run a small space heater in the coach or kick the furnace on?

I use my RV year round for work so winterizing is not a option. I keep the water heater on to make sure it doesn't freeze over.

Any other tips for year round use in the cold would be great.

That is how they work I guess, several posts here and other forums say around 40 or less you need to go with the furnace.

If you want to keep your propane usage down then use a space heater of your choice.

Do you have skirting on?
Is your water and drain hoses insulated and covered?
