Heated Mattress Controller

1st trip out for the year and discover a missing mattress controller. Can't believe how much we rely on these now. But this leads me to the question: Where can I buy a controller while on the road? Does an electric blanket controller work? A search online leads me to Flair but I'd rather not order it as I'm warm but DW is cold

I would NOT use a heated blanket controller. Thermostatic temperature sensing and power control are done differently for different manufacturers, and for different devices from the same manufacturer. There is a risk of fire, electrocution, etc. I would contact FR or the mattress manufacturer to get a replacement controller. In the mean time I would get a heated blanket and use the blanket to keep warm until you get the correct controller.

it would help if you posted what model RV you have, since they may be different from model to model.

if you have a FR hybrid, an electric blanket controller won't work.
you really need to have the one spec'd for the right plug and wattage.
sometimes they show up on Ebay.

You can buy them direct from the mattress people. I will try and search for a link.

the OP already did, since he mentioned Flair. Flair makes the heated mattresses for all of FR hybrids. don't know if they do for other RVs.
not sure why he'd not wanting to spend $15 for the correct one and would rather try using one from an electric blanket.
