Question Heater Question

I brought my XLR 27HRS home today and dewinterized it. I also checked a couple of the systems to make sure they were working properly. When I turned on the heat, I noticed the AC unit was also running. I don't remember the AC unit running last year when we used the furnace. Could someone refresh my memory and tell me if this is normal or not?

The fan mode on the thermostat is in the 'on' position instead of 'auto'.

I'm pretty sure it was in auto, but I will double check it tomorrow. Thanks!

OK, I ran outside to check it, and you were exactly right! Thanks!

What stinks is I know better, and I could have swore it was on auto when I checked it earlier....DUH
