Most likely high pressure gas regulator. What it was on mine. My water heater was running with low noise level and would shut off too. Neither was staying hot enough to keep thermal couple hot.stove has low pressure so it will work fine as will refrige.

i just covered two floor vents (trying to push air forward} with a mat and now my furnace blower comes on and cliks to light but wont light .. what did i do to it?
