So, move the A/C breaker to a different slot and move something else next to the main breaker.
He is tripping the pedestal breaker, not the one in the camper. Most likely a weak breaker.

No he's not. He said the breaker "inside the coach." Go read the OP.

If you have 30 amp, don't run your A/C and electric water heater at the same time. with your A/C on, run your water heater on gas. Check out the attached "Don't Blow Your Breaker"

We were having the same issue at one park. It when I checked, it was low voltage. I bought a plug in voltage meter at a camping store. I plug it into an unused outlet, so I can keep an eye on it.

If their 30 amp breaker is weak, the 50 amp service with an adapter might solve the issue. Adapters are quite inexpensive. Also useful if the 30amp pole connection is worn or burnt looking.

Thanks, we recently bought just such an adapter

OK...we went to the rv place the next morning even though it worked fine once we changed spots, but they were closed for 3 days because of some local event- they were the only place in town.

We went on to our destination that next day where we spent two nights dry camping. We are now headed back home but with one night stop near our 2 day dry camp destination (motorcycle event). We chose to do this for hookups and prolonged a/c before heading back north.

We fired up the a/c before taking our dog for about a 20 minute walk - came back and it’s running great. Well then.........

Wife asked if it was ok to use the microwave and I said yes. OK, in my defense we NEVER did that the first 1 1/2 years we had the MH but a friend told us that was crazy and we should be able to and we’ve done it that way several times (NOT what we did the day I made this original post)

Anyway, after reading this informative reply about how many amps it takes to run what...we shut off the lights and electric hot water!!

A/c is currently working, although we will still go talk to local dealer when we get home!

Again, many thx to everyone who helped!

Just as a suggestion, get a EMS, you will be glad you did when it comes to low voltage.

At the campground we are seasonals at we normally get 121 to 124vac. Over the July 4th weekend I saw voltages down to 116vac. After everyone left who were going to leave the voltage came back to 122vac. This info was on the digital readout for the EMS. What else the EMS contains is a 15 second or 136 second time delay so if your ac is on when the power comes back it will not allow power to your RV until it gets better stabilized.
