HELP! Dometic DMR 701 refrigerator

Hello all,
I have a 2016 VLite ( bought new in Oct. of 2016) with a Dometic DMR 702 fridge. It worked fine when we finished our last trip (Oct. 2018). I was getting it ready for use yesterday, turned on the fridge, lights all worked like normal. This morning I found only the freezer was cold, not the fridge part? I checked the fuses and breakers and did a quick inspection of the lower panel (fridge is in a slide) and didn's really see anything out of place?

I've done some searching but can't really find someone with the same issue as mine?

Thanks in advance for any possible help on this!

So, this is quite normal with an evaporative Fridge.

As long as the freezer is freezing, you will get coldness in the fridge.

The freezer portion gets the hottest refrigerant first and thus cools the compartment the most. Then the remaining partially cooled refrigerant passes through the remaining coils that cools the fridge, before returning to the reservoir to be heated again.

Without food in the fridge to absorb the cold, you can only tell by feeling the transfer fins.

If you put a thermometer in the freezer and you cant get the freezer to get sub 32 degrees after a 24 hours, you may have a problem.

Hello Herk,
