Help! New camper, heat won't turn on

Hi all, we are in our new camper, we go to turn on the furnace for the very first time the blower comes on for about 5 seconds, it shuts off and then absolutely nothing. Any thoughts please. 2018 26rr toy hauler

Do you have full propane tanks? Have you lit the stove to purge the lines?

Hi Broadway Joe, just lit the oven, it's warming now...should I keep it on for a bit? Thanks so much for your response. Not sure what else to do and yes, full tanks

When you say it's warming, are you talking about the heat or the oven? You have to turn the heat off to reset the heater.

Ok, turn the thermostat to off, then try the heat again. It will try to lightm if no ignition it will lockout after approximately 10 seconds. It is necessary to reset the thermostat to retry.

In what condition is your battery? I'm not asking how many lights are on your "levels" panel for the battery. Do you have a multi-meter, etc., with which you can check your battery?

Hi Mr. Dan, the camper is 5 days old...we assume battery is new as well, though that may be a bad assumption lol...we don't have tester on site

OK, I'll make a couple of assumptions... and ask a couple of questions.
1. You're plugged in to campground power.... 30amp or 50amp?
2. You have no battery disconnect switch or, if you do, it's connected.
3. Your power center breaker for your converter is not tripped.

Does your microwave work?
Are your inside lights bright as you would expect?

Has it rained on your trailer recently?

You need enough battery power to drive the blower fast enough to close what they call a "sail switch". Failing that, furnaces don't work.
...... and we've seen a couple (or many more?) cases where the furnace's control board has been wet and stifled furnace operation.

I'm asking questions so your answers will help smart people solve your problem.

Hi Mr Dan,
The microwave works great and lights are bright. We are at 30 Amps, the battery disconnect switch is connected and it hasn't rained. All breakers are good. Thank you for trying to assist!

Hello Mr. Dan....
Well, we figured it out...removed the vent panel to expose the unit and we found a cord from the fridge crushing the cheap duct going to the furnace unit preventing the intake flow....once husband moved cord we had heat....you'd think it would've been checked before it left the factory and before we left the dealership but I guess not lol

Heck fire.....The furnace can't be seen anywhere in my 2017 FR360....I took the returns off and looked into the cavity...Styrofoam covering over a tank I assume. The covering below the 5thWH cover up anything that might reveal the furnace...My old RV had a panel outside to easily get to it...no dirt dobbers nest in intake or exhaust used this furnace several times in the last year....last time...a month ago...now won't fire up
