Help Please - surround sound only working with radio

Jensen AWM968 AM/FM/CD/DVD/USB/Bluetooth connected to Haier TV in 2015 freedom express. The tuner for AM/fm will play through the surround speakers but TV - DVD will not play through anything but the TV speakers. Anyone have any advice on this?

Sounds like the output from the tv is not hooked up to the receiver/ radio input. Look on the back of the tv and see if there is a cable running from the tv sound output,usually they are red & black, or if it is true surround sound it would be an hdmi cable. If there is a cable from the tv output then you"ll have to look at the back of the radio to see if it"s plugged into it.Good luck pulling the radio out.
