Hopkins Smart Hitch Back up Camera

Does anyone have any experience with this product? Saw it on sale to day and wanted to check with the community. I would be installing on a Silverado to back to my MicroLite

We've used this on the last two trailers. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to hide from thieves.iBall Wireless Trailer Hitch Camera – iBallhitchcam.com

I purchased one of the Stealth Cam Wireless Backup Cameras (WX2-424974) to use at times, its great as it is very small and magnetic so you can mount it just about anywhere you want. Completely wireless and has a very extremely good color camera. Great for night or day, Rechargeable and last a long time. About the same price as the Hopkins that you where asking about.

Which product are you referring to? The one I posted or the other mentioned?

I know I have said this before, but check out Tadi brothers on their web site. Great selection of all cameras and monitors at best prices I have ever seen and good customer service

Well, I just got one from e-trailer.com on sale for my 2005 F350 with an integrated brake controller. I had difficulty installing it as the 7-pin connector on my truck is weathered and fragile. I think, but am not sure, that the Hopkins cable attachment to my 7-pin connector is faulty. The camera won't work and I started getting the TBC Fault and Trailer Disconnected messages in the truck. In all fairness i think it could be the truck connector but Ford says it checks out. The camera is a bit small but I think it will be okay once I get the installation corrected.

I have the Hopkins smart hitch and love it. Like others were saying I would also get a trailer disconnect on my 2010 f150. So I just cut of the the Hopkins plug and vampire connected directly to reverse light. No problems now.
