Great thanks for the advice. I assumed you would need them both on, but it stated to turn of the gas... So I assume they are just doing a step-by-step for switching to electric only. You would need to turn off the gas but it sounded like you had to turn the gas off. I plan on using the propane just in case we get overloaded. Sounds like it may not even be an issue.

I have been checking the tank to be sure it is full. It's really hard to get a wrench on the drain plug, so it seems to leak a little. I cranked on it a bit more so we'll see if it stays dry overnight tonight. Not sure what size it is, but I don't have a socket that large.

Drain plug is 1-1/16". If it's leaking, I would suggest you remove it and re-install it using some teflon plumbers tape on the threads.

I took the old teflon tape off and put new on. I just could not get enough purchase on the plug with the wrench. 1 1/16th socket is what I need. Thanks!
