How do I get the DVD player to display on TV?

Sorry folks, new to RVing.
Bought my 2013 Sunseeker 3010 brand new/used from the original owner after he put 150 kilometers on it and have never had a walk through.

It has a Magnadyne dash unit - Quest video controle center and 2 Jensen LEDC TV

I'm assuming that my DVD's should play on the TV unit but I don't know how to get it to display.
Disk in the player, Quest set on DVD, I have tried every input source on the TV but can't get anything to display. Is there a step by step guide for dummies?
I sure would appreciate a tip or a link to get me going.
Thanks

Do you also have the satellite dish installed? There is a connection that passes through that or directly to cable that might not be hooked up. Also, sometimes I have to reboot my system in order for it to "sync" up... Good luck!

No sat. hooked up at the moment. Just can't seem to figure out how to get the dash DVD player to play on the tv. Not sure what source it should be or if I need the control center set on DVD or Aux. I'm sure if I play with it a bit I'll figure it out, just hoping to have it under control before I head out on a road trip.

Did you engage the emergency brake?

No. Is that required for it to play on the TV?

I have to engage mine. I have a 2014 Forrester. My disk goes directly in the Megadyne unit.

..So brake on, DVD in the dash unit, TV on...
Can you tell me what your next steps were? Was the control panel set to DVD or AUX, What input source did you select on the TV and did you have to do a channel search first?
Anyone remember Schultz from Hogan's Hero's? I know nothing. lol

Sweet, Glad you got it worked out! Now if I could just get any of my remotes to work I wouldn't have to get off the couch and stick my head into the cab to pause the movie!😜

My dash system came with what looks like a little tiny toy version of remote. It surprised me, I didn't want to get up either. lol

Does your little toy remote work? My doesn't, I'm wondering if it just needs batteries...

We have a Jensen system in our Hemi 282RK. The TV does not play through the DVD unless you hard wire (extension jack) from the TV to the aux input on the DVD. Sorry folks, it may be the same for other units as well.

dvd player and main tv

Happy to say I finally got my dash DVD player to come through on the main TV in our entertainment center. Tried everything and then it came to me to hook the component cables to the upper plug ins on the Quest box. They were hooked up to the bottom plug ins prior to this. DVD is pushed in on the Quest box and the TV is on channel 3, with the Television Source being on TV. Then do a channel scan and it will pick up the DVD player. Works great!!!!!
