How to remove TV from bracket (2013 Surveyor Sport 220)

I'm usually pretty handy with things and, if I can't figure it out, can usually find something on the internet to help out. However, I've not been able to come up with a solution to this one.

We have a 2013 Surveyor Sport 220 with the TV on the panel that rotates to face either the living area or the bed. There is also a mount on the outside of the trailer (under the awning) for mounting the TV out there.

The bracket on the back of the TV has a spring-loaded latch that looks like it should lower the bottom locking bar of the bracket to allow it to clear the mounting block so the TV can be pulled forward at the bottom and "rocked" off the panel part of the mount. Actuating the spring-loaded lever does loosen up the mounting some, but not enough for the lower locking bar to clear the bottom of the mounting block. I've tried pressure from several different angles but I'm afraid of breaking something if I apply too much force. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?...

Second Chance... because I've been given one.

Have the same setup in our Heritage Glen. The television lifts up and off the bracket.
