How to tune Jensen TV?

My 2013 Sunseeker has a Jensen JE2412 LED TV.

I was trying to tune in HDTV stations this afternoon and got stuck in the scan channel section. The input source is set to TV. Once the scan was completed a message pooped up on the screen to scan channels. The only way to exit that screen was to turn off the TV.

A couple of time in the past I was able to p;pick up a couple of stations after a scan. I know I have to aim the antenna. I reside in the Philly area so there is a load of HDTV broadcasters.

I can't play with this at home because I live in a canyon where there is no HDTV reception. So I drive to the higher points in the area looking for a signal but don't acquire much.

The TV works fine with Chromecast and

Any tips or advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bobby

Antenna on? (Sorry, had to ask.) Loose antenna connection? Sounds like it didn't detect any channels, or did it report finding any?

I didn't check the antenna connection but I will tomorrow.

It did detect some channels but the last time I used it nothing appeared.

It worked during the PDI in August.

I did play a couple of channels after doing a scan in September.

I suspect there is something I need to be doing that I am not.

Oh hey, after scanning regardless of what it says on the screen try entering 04 and then channel up/down and see if you can start watching.

I also seem to recall you can press Menu again to exit the whole menu area and resume normal viewing.

GL!

I tried the TV again today while I was parked at a COSTCO. I did a channel scan and all of a sudden one of the local channels popped up. So I guess it works as I was able to tune in 7 different stations.

The lousy news is that the house battery started dying after about ten minutes.

I neglected to say thank you for your input. Thank you.

As a bonus, I learned from another topic how to play the TV through the dash speakers. My RV has no other speakers as far as I know.
