I had the old style crank up antenna. It never really worked good. It pulled in the local Chicago stations OK until the switch to Digital. Then it stopped getting any stations! I switched to a Jack and I can now get 70 stations in my Chicago suburb driveway. Even at a couple local campgrounds wherei could never get any signal I can now pull in at least 10 stations from either Rockford or the Quad Cities. It's a great antenna!

Here is the info on the antenna, It is junk in my opinion. If you want to use the TV get a Jack. The design says directional, the manual says omni directional. Can't be both.

I did the same thing but the results are the same as I had before. If the wind was blowing hard, I would lower the batwing. Not as worried about the Jack. If the wind were to blow it off, it might do me a favor. Digital signals are good and clear when they are good and clear. When they are not, you say dirty words. There is not much on TV worth watching anyway.
