I found Dish Satellite system for a good price

I don't know if this is the proper forum section to post this, so if the moderator would like to relocate this post, please feel free to do so.

Anyway, I've been in the market for a satellite dish system for my TT for when I'm travelling this summer. I wanted a Dish network system because they allow paying month to month which works for me because for 9 months of the year I'm home and have cable. I also wanted a dish that was simple to set up and was large enough to use in bad weather. I decided upon a Winegard Pathway X2 with wally receiver. They sell as a package deal for about $450.00 + tax on Amazon, which was the cheapest I could find online until I found this, https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/...SABEgK_rfD_BwE , $395 with free shipping and no tax if you live outside of TX.

I ordered the above deal on Tuesday and it arrived today. The receiver and Sat dish are brand new and everything works as it should. Set up my Dish account with out any problems and just so you know there is no activation fee to start the service, just the monthly fee, which depends on what package you choose plus tax. According to the above website the deal is good until 5-17-19, so if you're in the market for this type of Sat system at a good price here is your chance.

I have no connection with the company selling the systems, just a good deal that I found while searching the net.

Hi azccj!
Are you satisfied with the satellite system you purchased thus far?
The system you described sounds like something I would use.
Thanks,
Mick

I’m very satisfied with the system. I use it every day up here in Washington state. Very simple to use, just set it on a level surface facing south and it finds all the satellites. Picture is crystal clear. I also have liked the dish service app which will allow you to add or subtract different premium channels which are just $10 more a month. If you get the same system, also buy the external hard drive. That way you can record shows and watch them at your convenience. Unfortunately it looks like the place I bought my system from now wants $85 more than when I bought it a couple of months ago. Bummer.

Internet access is an option which allows on demand shows and Netflix. I don’t have my unit connected to the internet because I’m boondocking in my trailer this summer.
