If it's an HD receiver or HD-DVR, there is no "out to TV" coax. it only has RCA, S-Video, Composite, or HDMI capability to connect to TV. HD and most receivers including Genie have one Sat Input, HR20's through HR24's have two Sat inputs, but Sat 1 input is used only with a SWM setup.

You could get an RF Modulator to convert from RCA/S-Video to coax to a TV.

If your Directv box has been off line for awhile you might need to give them a call to reactivate it.

I would agree with WOWZER. DirecTV has a very good customer service base that i have found and will gladly walk you through what you need to do for your model of TV. I have had great experience with them with my RV and my SWIM unit and they want to keep your business. Give them a Call.

for sure you will have to get them to reauthorize your receiver. You will have your satellite in and if it's an HD receiver HDMI out. we use the HDMI out hook up to the TV

You can always call 1-800-DirecTV and at the voice prompt say "Refresh Services" or go here to your online account to refresh/re-authorize:
