mine would drift so i replaced it with a hunter from walmart. cost was ~$25. i've read that u can replace it with any that has battery backup.
i'll see if i can find the wiring diagram for it. i can remember that Rh and Rc are connected to common. there is a 7.5v line that isn't used.
we were on the road half the summer and had no problems with the replacement.
the other thing is that the hi and low fan both connect to the fan terminal. u loose the ability to switch from high to low stays on hi. i didn't use the low speed anyway. u can solve that with an external switch.

try this:

BillyBass, I think the breaker is doing it's job. Isn't there supposed to be a minimum amount of time, say 5 minutes, before the air conditioner kicks back on?
I just thought about what I went thru with no power to my outlets and I found a loose wire.

I installed the new thermostat with no problems and it works like a champ! I went with the programmable Honeywell instead of the Hunter because that's all my local Walmart had in stock. I also spent the extra money on the programmable Honeywell because I'm bad about leaving for work and forgetting to turn the thermostat up. My trailer stays nice and comfortable all the time now. I want to give a big thanks to everyone here. The information contained in these forums is worth it's weight in gold. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
