subbed. going to try to get myself a new unit. I've only owned my rig for a month and a half and had problems since day one. But sounds like it's getting fixed.

Thank You forest river forum, called Todd today and we'll have a replacement radio in a couple days. Kept telling my wife there is something wrong with the radio and when I found this thread confirmed it.

Actually there are not "a lot of different things happening with these units." The primary issue on a "small" batch was the sound not adjusting low enough. Now I understand this has gone on for sometime, but that has more to do with RV build and distribution than the total quantity (which I suppose we can debate), but the important thing is Patrick stepped up and did the right thing. Other companies may deny, deny, deny but Patrick is a stand up, good quality company! Thats I and proud to do business with them!

Sleep Timer - iRV 66
We recently had the stereo in our fifth wheel replaced, and they installed the iRV 66. We were told it has a sleep timer; however, there is nothing in the manual about a sleep timer. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I was wondering if Patrick Industries ships to Canada or if anyone on here that had theirs replaced is from Canada. My neighbors has the same problem. Both brand new 2015 from the same dealer. Great PDI huh.

Called last week Wednesday for my replacement and got it yesterday Tuesday. Now some time to remove the old and put in the new. I will report back on performance once done...mostly likely this weekend.

I installed the updated IRV66 and am pleased to report in the 4-5 hours after installing and having it played it did not once skip on sound. Also the low volume setting is actually low and not a complete shut off.
I received the stereo about 4 business days after calling. It came in a sealed IRV66 box with a set of instructions, remote control and even cables. Since the cabling was already wired in it really is just a plug and play. I disconnected/reconnected 3 harness cables, 1 HDMI, antenna cable, & 1 set of audio/video cables. I added an HDMI cable in for when I purchase the apple TV to hook it up.
While I had the radio out I went ahead and vacuumed up about 1/2" of wood shavings in the stereo compartment. (sheesh, what is it with these rv manufacturers leaving all that crap in there??)

In their defense when I called Todd Eash, he did mention that they had an order going out that same day. Maybe they wait to get in a certain amount and ship altogether.

Very nice person. State your issue and which model radio you have. he will get your shipping address, phone number and a credit card number to secure the core. They will ship new stereo to you with a return shipping label. Send back old stereo to avoid getting charged for it once you have new one in.

Correct. the bottom of the face plate has two small slots. start there and slowly and easily work your way around wedging a flat head screwdriver until it just pops off completely. 4 Phillips screws will be removed and unit should just slide right out.
