Thanks for the contact information and instructions on removing the faceplate. Your posts have been very helpful in starting to resolve the problem with our radio.

Got our replacement IRV66 installed and it works just fine. You can now turn the volume down so it's not so loud. It's nice to have a business actually do what they say they are going to do. Thanks to all for the contact information.

Does anyone know where I can download a manual for the irv66? Or would someone be willing to convert to a .pdf and email it to me? Trying to get the audio system tweaked with no manual is kind of annoying :/ Many thanks!!!

PattyM, I have a manual that my rv came with but it doesn't really say anything other than how to use the volume buttons. There aren't any secret combination of pushes that does anything special. The manual is a very vague set of user button location instructions.

What are you trying to do?

If Bluetooth, first go to the find Bluetooth device on your phone and then hit the Bluetooth button on IRV66, your phone will find it. Select it and your paired. I don't think it asks for a passcode but if it does it will prompt off the stereo.

You trying to adjust bass, treble, etc? Just push the volume button in and it will toggle thru each option.

I answered this question for you in the thread you started asking where you could find a manual. Here is the link to the manual again. Let me know that it worked for you.

There is no place like Crutchfield. No place. Their prices may be a little higher than the next guy's, but their customer service is unmatched by anybody in the electronics business.

I hope your product does well there. Pretty soon, the people at Crutchfieled will know more about your product to than you do.

Bob, while I've got your ear, my new iRV 66 has a problem with the front HDMI input. It will cut off all signals for about three or four seconds, then reconnect and work properly for several minutes or hours. What's wrong with it?

They claimed it needs a software change and I should wait 3 weeks. A failure of this magnitude should not take 3 weeks to fix. Especially since I see some of you reported the problem in November of 2014. I have not been able to find an IRV direct contact yet. I don't think forest river can fix it. I am looking for a replacement stereo for a brand new camper that I have never used. I am frustrated just typing that last sentence.

Not limited to Forest River products

I just read all 170 posts in this thread with great interest.
This problem is not limited to Forest River products. We traded our Palomino in for a 2015Keystone Outback Terrain 245TBH at the end of May. It came with the iRV33. We were excited with the three speaker zones and all the features the audio/video system came with.
However, it was not long and we noticed the speakers would cut out. At first we thought it was a timer on the radio... read the really vague manual and could not find anything about a timer.
Then thought maybe it was the amp overheating as the unit is installed in a closed cabinet. We turned it off and after a while it would come back on. But then would again cut out.
Then sometimes we would turn it on and it would not output sound to the speakers at all right off the get go. Then other days it would work uninterupted all day... on July 4th no one wanted to shut it off for fear it would not work again... so we slept with the radio on!
Lately it has not worked at all and after finding another shorter thread on here I realized we had a defective unit.
Service at our dealer has cleared ordering a new radio for us... I just hope it is one from the manufact with the fix in it!
Thanks for all the great info. I am going to share the link to this thread on Outbackers.com.

If you have an irv66 radio call this guy and they will replace your ragging.

Very nice person. State your issue and which model radio you have. he will get your shipping address, phone number and a credit card number to secure the core. They will ship new stereo to you with a return shipping label. Send back old stereo to avoid getting charged for it once you have new one in.

Bob, my source is my DirecTv HR24 DVR receiver connected to the front HDMI input of the iRV 66.

RV companies using iRV radios

Here is an exchange I had with RVTronics on FB:

Ken: How many different manufacturers have your radio in them? Perhaps a shout out to them is in order as well.
Like · July 31 at 11:20am

RVTronics.com: We here at RVTronics are a retailer that sells to the aftermarket so we don't know all the RV manufacturers who use iRV systems since those are not sold or coordinated by us. We try and help iRV owners however they got their systems!

Canada

Yes they do ship to Canada, but you have to pay duty on it. Still beats getting a replacement from your dealer and reciving an old new stock radio with the same problems.
