I think my Dometic Refer is missing a part

My Dometic DM2652RBF1 appears to be missing a shelf that is supposed to collect the drippings from the fins and aim it towards the tube that goes outside. Does dometic sell parts like this?

My shelf broke so I called Dometic 800-544-4881 and was told to call 888-446-5157 op 1 because my frig was under recall.
Hope this helps.

Thx. I noticed it because the beginning of the week was humid.

Lucky you got it early. My sister in law took hers out, not knowing what it was, because it was "in the way" of whatever she wanted to put in there. Several weeks later, had to replace all the wood under the fridge and some of the lower portions of the kitchen cabinets due to water damage. It had run out the fridge door. Now she knows.

Funny thing is, dealer blamed it on high wind and rain blowing in from the outside fridge vent. Another one of the genious dealers.

Pfffft Dealers. How they ever got into the business (beyond the 100% markups) is beyond me. Their techs should have to be certified like dealership auto mechanics (or at least have SEEN an RV before being turned loose in the "garage".

Yep, another dissatisfied customer.

Found a truck and trailer repair place (GROWS Truck in Feasterville, PA - SHAMELESS PLUG) that we just love. Should I need Flagstaff parts, I have been assured by Flagstaff that they can call FR parts department for prompt handling for any nonstandard stuff.

Last year, we didn't camp in the humid weather, so the fridge never dripped. I am 99% certain that it was never there when I bought it used. I was curious and asking myself how does the water dripped from the fins to the funnel on the left.

Might as well check the condition of the drain hose running out the outer vent while you're at it. I've had them dry rot. Usually we replace them with a better vinyl or rubber hose. I believe it's half inch. On the ones I've done, due to tight space, I had to unscrew the fridge and remove the gas line to slide the fridge out a few inches, then it was easy to remove and install a new one. Better than finding wet wood under the fridge for sure.

Can't find the thread right now, but I believe I read on a post months back where OC just took larger clear hose and slipped it over the existing manufacturer's black hose. I thought that was ingenious - something I have copied.

Got it in today. Did a quick google search for the part number. Saw a number of places with it for sale. Checked a few prices and ordered. 2 day USPS shipping.
