Installed WineGard Razar Z1 in 5th Wheel

After the factory installed omnidirectional tv antenna died, I decided that we needed a better one, so after a lot of research I bought and installed the Rayzar Z1.

I had a few restraints because of the ceiling height and location.
1. I had to be able to rotate it without getting out a set of steps every time.
2. I didn't want one that raised because of the access restraints.
3. It had to be conducive to me fabricating an extension that could be used to rotate the antenna.

That boiled it down to basically two units. I considered the King Jack Directional antenna (OA8400) and the Winegard Razar Z1.

I really wanted to try the King Jack, but due to the button on the rotation knob that you have to press it was going to be a challenge to build an extension that would be easy to engage the knob and press the button at the same time, so I went with the Winegard Razar because in order to rotate it you just needed to push the rotation knob up a little and twist and they offer an advanced signal meter/power supply.

Here are a few pics of the rotating knob in the RV.

This is the location of the antenna, as you can see it's in the highest part of the ceiling.
