Installing a rear view camera

I am trying to install the Furrion vision s rear view camera on a 2019 prime time tracer 260ks. The connector doesn’t seem compatible with what is preinstalled on the trailer. Anyone have experience with this?

I'm having the same problem with ours.

It can be VERY hard to connect! Don't give up!

The connector leaves zero room for error. It has to be perfect.

Be patient and you'll get it to lock in!

We do have the sharkfin mount. It is slightly different in size, but workable. The problem is the actual cable connector on the camper. It does not match the connector on the furrion camera I purchased.

Bizarre. Contact Furrion and ask what gives. It's their proprietary mount, and their camera, I would insist they make it work.

Furrion is the only camera that works on the mount on the back of the trailer? I figured that was the case but this is what I was looking to find out.

The connector that is there is only about 6 inches long..If you pull it out you will see it is spliced into the marker light on the right...You can get a mounting plate adapter for the furrion mount that allows you to mount other cameras. I got mine from Tadi brothers..

After contacting Forest River and Furrion, we found out that for a few months in 2018 Forest River was wiring these campers for a Way Interglobal camera. The mount looked the same, but the connector was not. I had to return the Furrion camera I purchased and order one from Way Interglobal.
