IPOD cable doesn't make connection to Genesis 2.0

We have a new Puma 31kbh and we loved the idea of a stereo system in the camper. Well after having the camper only a month, the cable for the ipod doesn't make the connection anymore to the Genesis 2.0. It is very loose and if you try to move it around you might make a connection for a second. Anyone else have this problem and if so how did you fix it. I have put a call in to the place we bought it but was wondering if anyone else had this problem. Also it came with no remote for watching DVD's? Anyone know who supports Genesis? Is it Concertone?

My Sabre has the Genesis 3.0. The Aux 3.5 mm for the iPod cord doesn't work either, neither does the USB port but the SD slot works fine. I just use play my music from my iPhone through Bluetooth on the Genesis. I don't know if the 2.0 has the Bluetooth feature. Figured I would wait until camping season was over and take it to the dealer for warranty repair or replacement.
