Irv 66 radio

A while back I saw a post that had a contact name for the irv 66 radio issues. I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have it?

Bob Fields, is a rep. Knows all about them if you have a problem. He should be listed in the member list.

I am happy to answer questions and help direct you as appropriate.
Todd is the warranty manager for the radio manufacturer.

Unless you know for sure you need a radio placement, give me a try first via here, email or phone call as many of you have already.

:-)

@bobfields I'm not sure if I need a new unit but sounds like I do. My issue is with volume. It's to loud. You can't turn it down to play softly. I have to turn the living space speakers off and leave bedroom speakers on so we can talk over it while having a meal.

Took my new 5er on first trip this last weekend, and had same issue with iRV-66 audio cutting out intermittently. Called Todd as mentioned on the other thread (mentioned above) and he's arranged a advance replacement for me. Should hopefully get it within a few days

I have never had my irv66 working correctly. I put the tv to the correct input and I see the irv logo (sometimes). I can't play a DVD and it work. Can't hear the tv through the irv no matter how I have it set. Tried moving the HDMI cable to different spots. Tried to use the input on the front HDMI, no go. The radio works. No manual with my trailer. The dealer scan me what he had and its not very good.

Sorry to hear of your problems.
I'm planning on connecting an optical audio cable from the TV output into the iRV66 for TV audio.
The official product manual is here: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ImageBank/v20150623094700/Manuals/932/932RV66.PDF

I did hookup the tv to irv with an optical cable and it works. So the only thing that is not working is the front HDMI.

iRV66

My wife got a hold of Todd last Thursday. New unit sent out Friday. Received and installed Tuesday. Works great! Thank you Todd!

I did notice that the replacement iRV66 display had the volume bar and spectrum analyzer displays twitching continuously, whereas the original one did respond properly to the audio input, albeit only at high volume.
I'm assuming that their (hack) fix for the audio cut-out, which was likely caused by a low input into the DSP in the first place, was to feed a fixed signal into the DSP control circuitry (or equivalent software hack), so that the DSP/equalizer now thinks that there is a constant audio source and doesn't switch off the pre-amp output.
I do wish they'd fixed it properly since the constantly twitching display is somewhat distracting

Heh. I don't want to watch it, that's the whole point. I'd rather it be off than jumping around pointlessly. I'm just easily distracted ;-)

I have a new 2016 Rockwood and I'm having irv troubles, the TV volume does not work and the setup switch does nothing. I'm not sure if it is even wired up correctly. Does anyone have a wiring diagram.?

You might be able to find it on line, I think that Crutchfield electronics is the distributor, or you can call them, a very good and helpful company. Also the person above with the display problem, I would call them also.

See my thread on RV Home theatre. I used Clarion coaxial 40 Watt RMS boat (shallow mount) speakers. Huge difference. Adding a sub woofer makes it even better. My thread has photos of the change out.
