IRV Radio popping fuses

So last year my 2 6volt batteries died boondocking in the mountains so I hooked up my 12volt in the dark and reversed polarity and of course blew my fuses. Replaced all fuses and now the 15amp radio fuse keeps blowing.
I can't figure out how to fix this, I checked the wires behind the radio and there is another 15amp fuse intact.
Any ideas would be great, I am out camping now so I have time to work on this today.

I think maybe you took out the radio and need a new one. Some don't take well to being hooked up backwards.

Sounds like a good excuse to replace that POS IRV radio.

With more fiddling around, I unplugged the stereo put fuse in the fuse box and it didn't blow until I plugged in the stereo. So I dismantled the IRV unit to find the cause and didn't find any damage on the boards.
