Hi; the iRV sure seems to have problems, based on this thread. But I don't see this specific one...
I've got a year old Rockwood MiniLite just out of storage for the season. Everything works great EXCEPT the iRV 33 sound system. No power.
1) Checked the fuse. Seems fine, but sparks when I pull or replace fuse.
2) After pulling and replacing the fuse, power came on (FM). And stuck on; none of the control buttons work at all and I couldn't turn off.
3) Pulled and re-set the fuse again to turn off...came on on a different (AM) channel and stuck; no controls working.
4) Tried re-booting (held power button for 5 seconds) and no change.
I contacted my dealer (an hour away) and they are trying to get approval to replace the unit under warranty (which actually expired almost a month ago before I de-winterized it). I'd like to camp this weekend...with sound. Is replacement really the only solution??
In addition, last season the tv audio didn't come through the house speakers so I figured it was connected wrong to/from the iRV, as others here noted. (I'd disconnected the tv and used it in our house for the winter...but that shouldn't matter! I haven't re-connected it due to the above problem.) Wanted to pull off the unit to fix this this season but can't seem to get one of the side panels off (by pulling forward) to get at the screws. Any tips for that?
Help?!?!? Is there an iRV tech/dealer online? Thanks!!
